The
members
of
Moringa
Garden Circle (Fort Lauderdale Garden Clubs) honored
five of their own members who have achieved the amazing benchmark of 50
years of service, Moringa’s “Golden Girls”.
This joyful event took place at the March 2011 meeting where our
“Golden Girls” honorees Maureen Frazel, Maureen Lubbers, Pat Miller,
Alliean Roberts and Jo Williams were presented with a framed photograph
of the Moringa flower, photographed by member, Barbara Richie.
Moringa
president, Sharon Bogard, thanked each of the honorees for
their dedication, service and friendship, noting that “You are an
inspiration and role model for each of us. We value the contribution,
dedication, education, and sisterhood that each of you have given to us
over this last half century. Moringa Garden Circle is one of seven
circles within the Fort Lauderdale Garden Club.
